my 125 gallon planted tank journal

Your efforts really show! It is a beautiful tank!!! Your tetras look great too!

I'm jealous of your moss wall. ;) Your tank looks good, but you could try planting the penny wort in the ground so it doesn't end up sticking to your filter intakes.

wow that the most awesomest tank ive ever seen!!! good work jay it looks absolutely amazing! no ferts or co2 huh? impressive! so wats all the diff. species of fish ya got in there now? i bet that tank musta cost a fortune to make!
i have put a lot into this tank but not as much as some of the high tech people here. thanks for the compliments. for fish i have the prochilodus, red eye tetras, glolight tetras, harlequin rasboras, julie cories, bristlenose plecos, siamese algae eaters, otos, platies, zebra danios, rummynose tetras, glass catfish, hatchetfish, brilliant rasboras, bamboo shrimp, cherry shrimp, yellow shrimp, malaya shrimp. and of course 5 different species of snail.

Big change Jay, cant wait to see how it will look grown in.
Getting way better with the photos. Making the brilliant rasbora look.... BRILLIANT lol

i actually wrapped the pennywort around the intake hose of the filters to hide them. i want the tank to look as natural as possible. i do have planted pennywort though, but i like the clover better. the moss wall has been trimmed twice already but still is patchy. next time i will grow it under even light and wait for it to fill in before putting it up as a wall in my tank. i have a thread on the moss wall in the diy section so you can make one just like it.

Very nice, and good boj coming along the Way!!
you just gave me an idea as of what i'm going to do with the moss i have in a 10gal, there is 2 species of moss, the Javamoss and Christmas moss, i'm going to attacht them to the wood like you did. hope my Uarus dont Kill/Eat it.

love the Moss Wall very cool.
