My 125 Tank Build

I know I really need to post a couple of pics, but I have been doing the sand vacum and the water changes and they have helped alot. The one thing that has really started to make a difference is a diamond watchman goby. Stirs the sand and the diatoms that are left and I haven't seen cyano in about a week. I am well pleased with the addition and the results.

David, how are you liking the stand and canopy? Saw you painted it black...what made you go that route?

Grins

The rest of the furniture in the library is all black and I just got frustrated with the way the staining wasn't turining out and went black. No issues with the stand or canopy to date.

My only issue has been adjusting flow in this tank becuase of the shape and the location of the overflow. What a pain, but at least the cyano is behind me for the moment.

Wow! That is so cool! I have always wondered about an underwater camera and a marine tank...unfortunately my fish bolt behind the rocks as soon as my hand hits the water. It would be a ghost town in there if I dropped in a camera.

Start feeding with your hands then...

I did a lot of tank maintenance yesterday and then got the bug to aquascape. The tank and inhabitants must like it because the coral has really popped out and the fish are happy campers. Will take some photos tomorrow and post. Adjusted the flow as well, think that made a big difference.

Can't wait to see the new pics...I don't post a lot but still lurk and follow some threads. I should post some recent pics of my tank but it really doesn't look much different :D
