My 125g Reef

I have a bunch of tanks to choose from for my sump. It just depends on which one will fit the best under my tank with everything else... I want to set it up in the middle mainly becuase I love semitry... so I dont want to use the 55g cause its too big to fit with the halide ballasts, cleaning supplies, chems, etc... Im either going to use a 29g or a 40g but first I have to sell my 55g, ~35g (Hex), and 12g nano to make money (for 125g) before I can spend more money...
And I definitely need the sump soon! I'm getting a small diatom bloom and with the low water turnover rate it could get out of hand....

Got some snails today...
I realize I will need lots more but I want to take it slow and I'll just deal with the algae manually for now...

They are a little expensive at the LFS so I Only bought 12...

Had an idea for a sump setup... Since I can't drill my tank, I was thinking about making the sump higher than the display and builing overflows into it...

Not alot new to post right now...
I really need to get some more cleaners etc plus I've decided I need to setup the RO/DI unit for my water changes... My nitrates phosphates etc are fine but I'm getting quite an uncitely bloom of diatoms... I think its due to the minerals in my well water...
Everything is happy tho, Just the sand is ugly.. and that makes me UnHappy :sad:
Still thinking about how to setup my sump and not sure what to do really...
I was thinking about linking 2 or three glass tanks I have and then making an overflow run into a spray bar?
If I use all three tanks I'd probably have about ~75g worth of sump...
My three display tanks are up on ebay now and if they don't fetch what I'm looking for there they'll be listed on craigslist etc...
Any idea's for my sump setup are welcome...
And I really need to look at a good skimmer

Well ive been looking arround at local clubs etc... and possibly found someone to trade some mushrooms with me... red for blue etc...
so if we get to do a swap I'll share some pics of the new stuff...
It looks like swaping is all im going to be able to do for a while (my wife had a little something to say when I mentioned buying a sump etc.. All I heard was somthing about spending about $1000 last month on my "hobby" I kinda tuned out the rest...) :help:
I sappose the tank was way expensive... but I thought it was a good deal; 125g all glass new with stand $600 w/ versa tops and lights... I really shoulda looked at the classifieds! I coulda got 4 times the setup for the same price

She's gettn better about it, but that doesnt mean I can go and blow the 400-500 I want on a sump setup with a skimmer
All in all I just have to remind myself "Nothing good ever happens in a fish tank quickly!"
