My 125g Reef

What's that in the first pics- chaeto?

You're right, it can get expensive but worth it in the end in my opinion. I say the biggest sump/fuge you can fit would be optimal.

Looks good!

No, I don't have any cheato... I think that will come with the sump...

Right now I'm trying to find a way to use the space I have to fit a sump in and not spend alot of money...

My wife didn't like the idea of moving the tanks so I'm limited to the 10" space behind the tank... and since I dont want to run a syphon I'm probably either going to make a custom sump or just buy a couple cheap 20g's that will fit and build a stand to raise them over the water level... then its just pump in - overflow out...

Hmm,

I guess I forgot to post pics etc here...

Well I'll post some soon.. for now, I'll just say that It seemed to work. It got rid of all the algae on my glass and alot of the stuff on the rocks... Sand looked bad for a few days, but looks great now...

I plan to impliment this as a part of my routine...

Here are some pics that I didnt post before...

Tank 5 days after lights out... (algae started to come back, but not near as bad...)

I'll post more pics when I get more time...

Very nice!

Thanks for the comments,

I may be getting my fish room... My wife is sick of the floor getting wet, and me having buckets etc laying around.

Since I'm going to be framing in my new Master BR and the Tank is going to stay in it, I'll probably just frame in a little room with my tank in it... It'll be big enough for me to walk in and work on my sump and tank etc... as well as keep my buckets and fish stuff in...

I plan to build it "In Wall" style and make it visible to the BR only...

Whoo hoo I may get to make this thing nice after all :grinyes:

Ehh... you are going to have the tank in-wall so you can see it in the bathroom? Nice open looking tank. The fish have plently of room to swim away from you :grinyes:
