my 15gallon paludarium update

a quick update with phone pics...

the emergent growth and terrestrial plantings are taking off, but I think they have hit the point where there aren't enough nutrients right now. I may have to hit it with a little nitrogen or a drop of flourish... haven't had to in at least 6 months.

note: I can't seem to upload photos right now, but will try again soon.
 
Gotta love what a little bit of maturity does for a tank. Looking awesome as always dude!!

the problem with the dense growth, is that the java fern suffers. you can see the browning on some leaves, which is all new in the last month or so. I seem to recall something similar last summer, the javafern stuggles, and emergent growth goes nuts, then in the fall when it's not as warm and humid, the emergent growth dies back a bit and the fern grows.
