My 1850 gallon cichlid tank

I'm in awe, it makes my 50g look like a fish bowl.

I have so many questions, where do I start,

Firstly how on earth do you keep a tank that size clean, even if you did the water changes how do you stop grime building up on the glass etc.

Could you also explain the water change proccess I'm fascinated how your 150g comes into operation as part of the water change proccess.

What kind of filters do you have on that thing.

And finally where on earth did you buy it from was it specially made ?

Water changes are done by using a 700g concrete holding tank , and I use a pump to get the water up from my basement. All filters and equipment relating to the tank are in the basement as well. It usually takes about an hour to do a water change. Vacuming the gravel is the hardest and let me tell you I dont think I have done a good job on it yet.And I usually use PVC pipe to extend the lenght of everything, and use a step ladder to stand on. As for algae ,as you might have read eariler I use a algae turf scrubber for nutrient control(nitrates, phosphates ,ect) so I do not have a lot of algae build up in the main tank I clean the front maybe 3-4 times a year. Yes it was specialy made by a construction company. :)
