my 20gal growout for 4red bellied piranhas! :)

OMG! The vid of you petting your Aro is too cute!! He obviously loves you and all the attention you give him (or her?)! Nice job!

It might be necessary to feed piranha live food, however that does not mean someone needs to post a half eaten fish corpse. What people do with their tanks in private is one thing, but glorifying the death of an animal is sadistic and does not seam appropriate for a family friendly website.

i guess you could say the same for a LFS, theres always going to be dead losses and its unavoidable for people not to see them.

I've never been to an LFS that was proud to have dead or mutilated fish in their tanks. In fact at every one I have ever been to if notified they promptly remove them from their tanks. This picture on the other hand is someone glorifying a mutilated carcass. There seems to me no positive reason to have posted a picture like this.

That last picture is distgusting! There is no need to post something like that.:mad2:
Why? It's all a part of nature, unlike shooting dear and clubbing seals. P's are great fun. I used to have red bellies and then I eventually ended up with a black piranha. That thing was vicious! I had to sell them all to good homes when I'd move.

Okay folks, lets try to stay on topic here.

You're way too sensitive.

I'm sensitive too about the well-being of animals, but, that's what animals do, eat each other.

Where is it a part in human nature to rejoice with pleasure in viewing images of a mutilated fish carcass? I realize that people own piranhas and that they have to eat, but I do not see anything positive that could come out of posting pictures of it.

Nice looking setup!

I'll be sure to edit any pellets or flakes out of my future pictures, because they have dead fish in them.
