I love your aponogento!!

Thanks. I'm afraid it's getting pretty close to being "spent." It's been awesome, so I'll definitely try to take good care of the bulb and give it another run after a while in some dark, cool sand. My tank will look naked without it! I might have to get another one and rotate them :)

Hi folks,
Here's a long overdue update.
I've changed things around quite a bit. Sadly, my lampeye killies only lived a few months with me. I'm not sure what went wrong with them. Some mysterious incompatibility with my water params, maybe?
I also sold or moved all of my larger fish (emperors, betta) to make way for some smaller fish.
Current stocking includes 2f/1m juvi Australian Desert Gobies, 7 Cory Habrosus, a number of Dwarf Livebearers/Least Killi, 5 Ember Tetras, a pair of Psedomugil gertrudae, a male Dario Dario (doing great after looking iffy for his first couple of months in the tank) and numberous malawa and blue pearl shrimp.
My original giant Ulvaceus is back in the tank after spending the winter resting. It's starting strong, and I hope to have it rekindle its past glory shortly.

A nice looking Malawa. There are very few pics on the net of these shrimp showing off their best patterns (they do change quite a bit). Now there's one more.
