My 5 gallon tank.

FreshyFresh FreshyFresh

I ended up doing this(in regards to fasting him):

fasted him when I first got him, gave him one piece of daphnia, gave him epsom salt bath, gave him 1 and a half bloodworms, fasted him, and later gave him 2 pieces of daphnia which he ate.

Where finally the bloat subsided.

I got some mysis and brine shrimp for my fish, they didn’t have mozzie larva so I do not have it with me.

I gave him one piece, as a whole, and he choked on it and spat it out lol where I ended up cutting it in half and gave him only one half.
Yesterday he got 2 mysis shrimp heads with eyes ?
He liked it, unlike me ?

My iPad messsed up post No.12 and put different pics than my betta ?
Just lovely ?

Here are some recent pictures of him

Yesterday was done a water change so scape was changed, algae cleaned out, poo and plants as well.
Will post a picture of the new scape and Peanut, my betta a bit later ❤️

and sorry for keeping you wait for updates, i’ve been quite busy :)

I'm glad he's not sitting on the substrate anymore, a good sign! That flake looks pretty big for a 1 or 2 bite snack, maybe try half that...Does he poop in a "normal" way at least once/day or every other day? It's funny how obsessed we can be over our fish's bodily functions, but it's 1 of the few ways we can tell what's going on with them.

Yeah, he did choke on that big piece ?
He poops more than every other day, so he doesn’t poo that much. Poo look like liltle sausages cut in half.

Was he really sitting on substrate??
