im not a huge fan of brightly colored gravel, but i like the tank, looks good

although, i highly advise you not to keep tiger barbs with angels, tigers love to nip at long finned fish, your angels could become a target

The Kissing Gourami has been removed, and 2 Blue Rams have taken it's place.

Revised Stocking List:
2 German Blue Rams
1 Ropefish (Houdini)
1 Tiger Barb
2 Albino Tiger Barb

3 Green Tiger Barbs
2 Angelfish
1 Dwarf Flame Gourami
3 Spotted Cories
1 Bronze Cory

Moving Tigerbarbs to a new tank after Christmas.

Changing the substrate soon, researching doing a planted tank.

sounds good to me, make sure you post pictures when you change everything

looks nice overall, but i have to agree.. that "circus special" mixing of colored gravels has to go.. not picking on you, am just saying for all...

here is what has worked for me for a gorgeous planted tank.... about 2-3 inches of a black bio-gravel from caribsea... 3 or more watts per gallon of power compact lighting and adding flourish excel from seachem (according to directions) regularly... i set local, city tap water out over night (or, two nights) with NO additives and do water changes once a week or so... replenishing the floursh excel accordingly afterward...

ok, before all the co2 addicts descend.... i know i am not going to equal the growth rate short term with my system.... but, over the long term, it has worked just fine with alot less fuss/hassle...

just my two cents..!!

The gravel is obviously not for everyone, but maybe he's going for the psychedelic look. :cool2: Those plants in the background look like shrooms. ;)
