My 70 Gallon Reef Log

How about breaking up the large piece into smaller pieces?

That rock is beautiful!! It has lots of fun areas for stuff to live.

How about breaking up the large piece into smaller pieces?

I really like the height and there are lots of places to place coral when I transfer it over. The water is so cloudy you can't see the light green coral that is in a big patch in the front.

I was thinking of filling in the left space with the remaining three pieces.

My biggest concern over breaking up the big piece is that last time I did that it ruined the rock for me.

Thanks, that is what I was trying for. The water has cleared up quite a bit, so by morning I should be able to place the remainder.

Hmm, can you lean the new rock on the right down towards the left so there is a bit of a bridge affect?

so it is horzontal on the sand bed?

Grins: is that your new cocoa feather duster??? Looks nice - but I miss you puppy in you avatar. I laid the rock flat. The back of the rock was fairly flat and made a bit of a "bridge" between two stabilizing rocks. Looks good. Will takes pics in the am as the "cloud" kicked up again. I hate starting the sand bad. :-)

UPDATE

Ok, this is my interpretation of "the bridge" and I really like it. Can't get the full feel for it from the pictures. Once I clean the inside glass I will take some more pics.

On a side note, I was really surprised how many of the "little white serpent stars" I found in the move. I really think the clowns and the Pacific Tang are happier - the tang is swimming and not hiding.

Let me know what you think!

I also think I made add a clam (now that I have MH) and a plate coral after seeing subliminals.
