my 75 gallon high tech

Good start dude :) tank is looking good and yes crypts are amazing :)
What do dosing in the tank and do you measure CO2 levels?
Also make sure you have enough flow around such a big tank to distribute nutrients and CO2, the plants will thank you for it ;)
Keep us posted :)

I dose ferts using EI, and I have a drop checker. I distribute my co2 via a maxijet1200 powerhead (about 3 bubbles per second) that mists it out pretty nicely. Theres really good water flow in the tank, all the plants sway a bit, even the grass.

My only concern is that I am not seeing the o2 bubbles like I had been seeing in my 29g. The riccia used to be covered in o2 with lights and co2 on and I havent been getting that. Just a few random bubbles coming up off the plants.

Nice tank! It gives me ideas for my 75 gallon once I hook the CO2 up and take out my water sprite jungle. :)

Too much water movement is my guess :( I had the same problem. The verdict was too much water movement / surface movement. Well, that is until I murdered all my riccia recently..

Very nice! Love the manzanita. What kind of moss is that on it?
