my baby geckos

The one with no stipes I know for sure is a hypo tangerine. The other might loose its stripes, but it still is a tangerine.

Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail (SHTCT) actually, and striped one could be a high yellow, it just depends on how the colors come in and stripes fade as it gets older..

thank you for the ID help. could you help me with a dietary question? how often should i give them waxworms? i currently feeding them every other day with about 8, 8-12mm crickets each. the crickets are dusted in calcium and gut loaded too. :spam:

Waxworms are high in fat. Should really only given once every other week. They are also very addicting some geckos once on waxworms will only accept them.

Alright the internet is horrible in class right now and I managed to post my thing 4 times, and then they got deleted, so I'm going to attempt to rewrite what I posted.

Waxworms are a treat, as the member above said. I use them as a treat every few weeks, and to help underweight/breeding females. They are very high in fat, and addictive.

As for being addictive, don't take it lightly. My 4 year old female was addicted to them for some time and refused to eat mealworms. I had to basically starve her for a month until she caved and ate mealworms. It took some time for me to just go through with this, because I felt bad for her and would offer waxworms. Another method that sometimes works is rubbing the guts from the waxworm on another worm.

My juveniles eat daily, 5-10 mealworms or small superworms, depending on what bucket I grab from the other room, all of which are gutloaded and either dusted if being hand fed, or placed in a dish filled with pure calcium (this dish is left in the tank at all times for them to eat from it). Crickets are great food, less fatty and not as hard to digest, I just hate the noises they make and they would easily escape from my rack setup.

thats great thanks for the help. i use silent crickets so i have not yet had the irritation of thier noise. i have not heard of superworms but i shall look in to getting some for my geckos.

i see you have a bearded dragon, your so lucky i'm saving to get a good set up. do you have any pictures??

Yea, she's only 5-6 months right now, got her in September at a reptile show. She's a lot of fun actually, so much more personality then everyone else! It's funny to think in August I had 3 leopard geckos and a crested, and now I have 7 leopard geckos, 2 cresteds, a tokay, and the bearded.

Here's a picture of her:

And her home right after we got the free tank/stand/lighting fixture:
