They can be sold for educational or "display" purposes only. SO as long as you say it is for "display" you can usually get away with it :D

It is an outdated law anyway.

Well its good I didnt get roseys then, I only got the guppies because he is so small and they were the smallest feeders they had. They also have feeder shrimp, I wonder if he would like those.

He actually just started eating a few days ago, he was still using up his yolk sack when i got him. Right now I have some chiclid gold pellets for him to munch on (floating). Right now I just want him to eat, I dont think he even looks at the guppies yet, they swim by his face and peck at his shell at he just sits there. Hes only snapped once at them to my knowledge.

This weekend I wouldnt mind getting some turtle pellets as long as they are not to big for him. I have medium pellets and they are just a tad to big for him, takes him a few bites to get it down.

Reptomin is a good choice of pellet. I've been feeding it to my turtles for years. They make it in a baby pellet now too. I also feed my turtles cichild and koi pellets now and then to add some variety. They also take algae waffers.

Live shrimp are a great food source to feed as well but stay away from wild caught crayfish. They've been known to transfer diseases/parasites to turtles.

Very nice snapper, make sure you don't lose a finger. Then, a hand. Then, your arm... Maybe in quite some years, your torso ;):D
