My DIY CO2 went live today.

wes... it's a ceramic co2 diffuser. you can find them all over the place. ones at that price range are pretty much exclusively on bargain sites like ebay, etc..

Told you it was a stupid Q' ... hey I did know ... I new to some of this.

Some of these thing didn't exist 20 years or so ago when I first started in planted Aquariums. I'm learning a lot of new stuff and relearning some old stuff.

Thanks Dun...

Best wishes,
Wes

despite the 15 pounds of silicon, I still have a leak...thanks to submerging it in water.
I will fix and update you all.
Made new bubble counter...3/8" hole, angled cut, pulled through with pliers.
and Houston...we have liftoff!!!!!
Part of the problem was also a bad check valve from the bubble counter to the tank.

YAY. And thanks to everyone for the help.

Quick update, didn't gas the fish overnight!!!!
I am getting 1bps at the top of the tank, and the bottom (was worried about lack of pressure). However, I attached the airstone and I see no finely diffuse bubbles coming out. When I attached the stone to spare tubing and blew it worked, but I had to blow pretty hard. Any hints?

nevermind...I have finely diffusing bubbles!!! pH 7.4...I will obsessively monitor throughout the day!
