well the babies are lookin a lil diff as in colors to teh parents so thats good and i think its time to do some tank maintance as i see greenish to brownish algea on the glass and im not gunna have to go threw green water again grrrr lol
It depends which gene is dominant. For example, the yellow tail will be either dominant or recessive. If it is dominant all or almost all of the fry will have it. If it is recessive almost none of the fry will have it, but the gene is likely to turn up in the next generation. As for the irredescent sheen, males will generally be more colourful then the females so they probably have similar genetics in that area.
