i appologize if this has already been addressed, but these pics are very good and clear.
what kind of camera setup are you using?

love the goby too!

Ahhh, I love following people's progress as they go through their SW tanks and find new and interesting things... I can't wait to join the darkside once I get a job and money :]

Thank you,
I'm using a canon rebel xti with the kit lens for most of the pics. I need to get a macro lens but right now the tank is out competing the camera.

I've been wanting a YWG before I even started the tank, but had a hard time finding one, so when I did I jumped on it.

Thanks for all the comments guys

Thank you, that means alot. Just make sure not to make the same mistakes I did, initially filling up the tank with tap water, leaving green hair algae on the liverock when you purchase it because "it looks cool", I'm sure I did more just can't think of anything at the moment.

As for tank updates I did my water change today since I took the day off, and while doing so I took out all the rocks that had green hair algae on them and scrubbed them down with a toothbrush I think I got like 95% so it should be kept under control more easily when I do my weekly water changes. Also I added a new member to the tank even though it's probably looked down upon, I purchased a lawnmower blenny to try and help with the gha I know that if he does eat it/some this will only cover the problem not solve it. It actually has a lot more personality than I expected, it's a really cool fish so far.

Pictures either later tonight or tomorrow since the tank is still cloudy from the water change.

Lost the lawnmower blenny...:headshake2:

I checked the parmeters
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5-10
Salinity 1.022
Temp 81.2

Something I noticed is that it always seemed to be breathing a little fast. Maybe I stressed it out too much by doing a water change and removing all but one of the rocks to scrub them down about 5 hours after I brought it home.
Everything else is doing great, I'll keep a close eye on the tank this evening.

Actually now that I look at it again my devils hand is wilted and not stretching upwards like usual. Now I'm starting to worry.

I used the same water from the same lfs as always, things I did differently.

-Took all but one of the rocks out and scrubbed down with a toothbrush that has only been used to clean liverock in water from last weeks water change that's been sitting in a bucket with the circulation or heater.

-Rock with zoa's and paly's flipped facedown into sand while I was moving things around

-One of the green paly's detatched and stuck to my finger when picked up so I stuck it onto another live rock where it instantly reattatched

-I cant remember if I got gas on my hands or not on monday because my gas tank has a hole in it and I've been messing with it (but I dont know if it was on monday or not), but I always wash my hands and take a shower before sticking my hands in the tank.

I'm thinking either palys or zoas released toxins in the water, something happened to the water that sat in the bucket thats made it toxic, or somehow my hands were still contaminated after washing them and taking a shower.

Other than the dead lawnmower blenny and wilting devils hand everything else in the tank is fine. All other fish and inverts are alive and well, zoa's, paly's, frogspawn, and gsp are open and look normal.
