My first planted tank 10g

Thanks everyone. I really like it too. I'm going to try to replicate that in my other tanks now that I know a little more about planted tanks.

maronov, That's creeping moss tied to the driftwood w/ thread, which has broken 3 times. I just got some fishing line for it.

fish_freak, your tank looks great. Your plants are so bushy, obviously very happy. So your thumb must be green too.

boo, no, I actually struggled for the 1st month trying to keep them alive. Half of them shrunk to almost nothing when I was only using excel and micros. Everything took off once I introduced DIY Co2 and NPK. It's quite a jungle in there now but I kinda like that look and my fry seem to appreciate all the hiding spots.

hakunamakarla, the substrate is Seachem's onyx. I alternate Fluorish with NPK every other day. For NPK, I use the poor woman's substitute of Fleet, Stump remover & NoSalt. See the sticky in the planted forum for details. I also have 2 DIY CO2 2L bottles.

It's WC day so :dive2:

WOW! what a diffrence! Nice !

Great improvement in a short time. Well done!
