My GF's 10gal Reef Log

In my opinion I would go with a pair of neon gobies (blue is my preferred color) over the clown or watchmen goby. They are fun to watch, keep ich under control at their cleaner station & are practically invisible to your bio-load. Mine eats frozen brine right off my hand, it kinda tickles. If you do, make sure to get the store to have them paired up because two males may fight to the death.
All the best.

I should pick one of the little cleaner gobies up. My 2 cleaner shrimps certainly have no interest in anything other than themselves and food. Salty, do you know how to sex them in case I pick up two of them?

Sexing is not easy in my opinion...The male has a pointed papilla on the from of the anal fin, where as the female fish does not show this unless its going to spawn...hope that helps..

Time for an update!!

Well some of you may have read my other thread, that our little guys got sick!!! Second pair of clowns to get sick...

One had brook, and so we placed both in quarantine and treated them. They are looking great now!! But our display tank will remain fallow for 8 weeks MINIMUM... im not going to cut it close to the 6-8 week period like we did last time.. I want to be done with sick fish.

This probably means more corals will be added to the tank..

Also, once the fish were removed last Thursday night, the tank has EXPLODED with copepods. I guess the clowns really eat them!!
