my kiddie pool

Is this inside your house? I had something like that for many years outside with goldfish in it. In the winter I put a stock tank de-icer in it and the fish did just fine. I had that pool out there for several years until a raccoon came along and trashed it and ate my goldfish. :mad2: I never fixed it up again as I knew that raccoon would just come back. But it was very fun while it lasted.

its in my bedroom :)

Wow, looks like you have some real monsters in there ... you must change the water every day - cant see that one filter keeping it clean for long.

How deep is the water?

the water is at about 12" deep, floor seem to be ok so I dont think I will push it any higher "maybe"

nitrates where at 10 when I set it up, used some of the old take water to keep some of the chems in. Ill change it when it hits 30 or so, probably tmw or wednesday. Gonna be a challenge as I have never delt with sand before

Lady G last night the pleco DID find his home! he is swimming around right now, I think I need to put a floating plant above his home again so he feels more safe. They are all looking at me right now waiting for food, pigs. I want to pick up a few more rocks and some plants to give it a better look

YAY!! I knew he would find it eventually!! I think the floating plants would be great, and more rock would be wonderful!

Aww, they will say hi to you again too, I bet...right now they are just excited to be able to swim around all crazy like.

I think you need a new video, now that they are getting more settled!:grinyes:

i heared that and experience myself that huger fish and tougher fish can handle more of a wide range of temperature.I myself had a pangasius catfish with goldfish for over 5 years til i sold my cat because of its size. Nice pool, i would like to see more.

im confused, is the kiddie pool see through?
