My betta and L-144's have been together for bout 7-8months. August 30th will be 1yr since I got my betta. Never seen one live so long in person.

I wish mine would grow up faster too haha or at least all at the same time, the one that I'm sure is a girl is just getting huge.. the one that we think is a boy still doesn't have whiskers but is big and long bodied so pretty sure it's a boy.. but then I have a little smaller one that's growing whiskers! weirdos lol I think I actually have 2 girls and 2 boys and 1 that isn't going to be viable.. I dunno.. it's just not growing well.. kinda scrawny looking compared to all the others.. real light colored white.. probably would be a great fish but I won't use it for a breeding fish =)
I had one that was like that too. pale in color, and much smaller than the rest. But now it's getting its color back. I have 2 really small ones and the other 4 are doing really well.
Update on my L144's I now have six.

I lost a small female 2 days ago. I think my largest male and female have paired off. I think they killed the smaller female. I've still got one that's really small compared to the others. It's only about 2"-2.5" long. It's not growing at all. The other female that's in the tank with her (40 gallon long) is probably 4".
I can never get tired of seeing photos of the LF L-144's. I (seriously) think they are the most beautiful fish in the whole world!! :clap:

I have 2 VERY confirmed females and 2 that I still don't know, the shots earlier that the one was thought to be male, is a very gravid female now =) So I guess we'll see what the other 2 turn into, but if you ask me.. it's not looking good for any boys here haha I might be in need of a male soon these female are getting BIG! =D

I got some plecos a few weeks ago from a lovely lady named Lori. I don't think they are L144s (I know next to nothing about identifying plecos, l144s are all white/yellow black/blue eyed right?) but I still love them
