My Mudskipper Setup

Thanks! I got the mangroves from Ebay. Seller name was "goomart808" Awesome seller and plants arrived very fast in good condition. I bought that skull in Astoria I think, you see it, get me a case!
 
OLD setup

OK, I'm bored so here is pics of the old setup... I took it down because for a 55 gallon tank that water volume was too small and I was having to do ALLOT of maintenance to keep it tip top. This tank was 12" wide (back to front of tank) The new setup is 16" so it has more water volume and no loss from the the extra sand.

Bought them in fresh so that is how I built the setup. The floating plants died in no time when I started converting them over to brsckish. Knew it was coming though...

We certainly have different set-ups, huh?
I only have a total of 8 gal of water in mine, as mine DEF are on land 90-95% of the time.


I have the same stump, & one of my guys is ALWAYS at the top :)

awsome ,, they look really cool ,, i will have to read up on these , they seem like a very interesting ''fish?'' to keep ,, i have seen some at my lfs but did not realise they come out of the water lol,,

i need to read more books ,
 
It looks great! Your kids are gonna be spoiled XD My only question is how can you tell them apart? Only 2 of my 6 have any identifying features; Kermit is tinier than all the others and Big Mama is a girl... Although now I think I don't have a girl after all... So make that only ONE I can identify.

Easy! The tank is devided into two sections. Dude on left = Spike, Dude on right = Rocky

I could never tell them apart before I devided them though. Usually just by behavior/dominance.
