Make it Half land Half Water and put shrimp and guppies in the water for him to eat.

If you read the whole thread you'll see I had it set up like that and did not like it. The setup is better low water level and many floating objects (turtle docks, tree roots), much better for water quaility. I feed meal worm, blood worms and crickets.

I'm just curious as to where you'd find info on these lil guys such as water chemistry, diet, compatible tank mates, ect. Do you know of a site or an article that outlines what needs these buggers have?

This site is somewhat helpful: http://aqualandpetsplus.com/Oddball,%20Mudskipper.htm

Details vary on the species you get but I have had great success with mine with the following:
Specific Gravity: 1.008
Temp: 80F
Diet: Small/Medium crickets, blood worms, meal worms.
Substrate: Sand (soft on belly)
Decor: Lots and lots of floating items or land area to chill/hunt on.

Hope that helps!

looks good but id add some more land the skippers would probly be happier with that

With the three turtle docks, root decorations and mangrove trees about 30% of the top surface area of the water is covered with some type of land area. I still like having more water volume though to keep nitrates in check between WC's.

Just my opinion though. I have had both types of setups. The next rebuild of this tank will have the best of both worlds. A 55G sump for water volume, really low overflows for land area and lower water level. I have the sump now just need to section it off and plumb it.
