My new 100 gallon mbuna setup

I agree with the idea of 12 Demasoni; but I also think you should add 6 aceis. Four red zebras and 4 cobalt blue is OK, if specifically you add 1M and 3F of each of these 2 species. Synos prefer small groups, why not 3 of them?

Woooow it looooks veryyy beautiful

I put gourami too with yellow electric, I feel groumi very happy and sometimes gourami attack yellow electric :)

keep it up bro

Just wanted to possibly relieve concern regarding your peacock. Everything you read will tell you NOT to keep them with aggressive mbuna species. I have a male Sunshine Peacock amongst a Tropheus Moliro, Tropheus Duboisi, Ndumbi, Hongi, Afra, Polit, Borleyi, Tangerine Tiger and many others in a 120 gallon tank. The peacock is clearly the bully of the tank. Not sure if this helps at all, but I did want to let you know that it's mostly trial & error. I've heard of all sorts of combinations which have been successful. African with South American even. The key is to introduce them to the tank at around the same size/time. Oh! And be careful not to produce any hybrids. Do a little research before you make purchases. They say that peacocks are divided into 4 groups. Chitande, Jacobfreibergi, Sand-Dwelling & Stuartgranti. You can mix as long as they are not from the same group ... or at least that's what they claim. There are alot of beautiful peacocks out there if you can get your hands on them. I just picked up a German Red, A Sulphur Head, a Blue Orchid and a female Sunshine to breed with my male. Research ... it's the best thing you can do!!!!! (I have a 120 gal. tank, a 55 gal. tank, a 29 gal. tank, a 25 gal. tank and a 20 gal. tank ... all African Cichlids ... so it isn't hard to seperate the peacocks at my house.) About the Gourami ... WHY ???? They'd be much better suited with something like Angelfish. I'm surprised that the cichlids haven't nipped them to shreds. Where is your PH? I keep cichlids around 8.0 - 8.2. I'm guessing yours is much lower.

thanks everyone
yes it is sand and i clean it by vacuuming it every week.its pretty heavy so it doesnt get sucked into the vacuum.no ugf
the ph is 7.8ish and the peacock and gouramis are doing fine. the gouramis are only in there temporarily, so u dont have too worry bout that.
i am going to buy 150lbs more rock and paint the back black sometime this week.
i'll post pics when done.

also my acei just released 5-7 fry:)!!!

Congrats for your fry!
