Well i recently made an order on Dr. Fosters and Smith. I bought:
225 bio-balls
Maxi-jet 1200
30 pounds aragonite ooltic sand
Box of liver treats (for dogs)
160 Pounds of Reef crystals salt

And i must say, i am very very impressed. I ordered Tuesday got everything within 3 days, while only paying for ground shipping. They came packed well in boxes, no equipment cracked or anything whilst shipping. They came with a receipt. With already extraordinarily low prices, i only had to pay 11 dollars shipping for 100 dollars worth of stuff i bought. If i had gotten them at my lfs it would have been somewhere in the 300's! I highly recommend this site for online shopping of any pet that you own and i hope you share the same enthusiasm as me.
 
Good info, i've been looking around at there site and was wondering about there customer service, there prices seem reasonable, i did notice that if i wanted to buy fish it would have to be a 30 dollar min...:dance2:

shouldn't that credit go to the shipping company lol? Seriously nice to hear you had a smooth transaction
 
I've placed 2 orders from them. The only "gripe"s I have, and they're small ones, is that it seems like they sometimes send the shipping information to FedEx for a tracking number, but sometimes don't deliver it for a day or two. This happened on both my orders. My AquaPod came in it's retail box, which was in the shipping box, which was surrounded by padding in another box! I had also ordered 40# of EcoComplete, and the box didn't do so well. It was mostly intact, however, and nothing fell out. It's 40# of dense material, not much you can do with it.
 
i havent tried buying fish from them, i dont think theres a need when theres 7+ lfs's around me.

Your lucky....There are 3 real FS around us, closest one about 20 miles or so..We were thinking about getting some Pork Chop Tetra's for our 20 gal..Foster's has them......:clap:

well i live in the city (chicago) so i would expect a lot of lfs's lol.

I have had multiple orders with F&S and couldn't have been more pleased with the service.
