thanks for the heads up derringer, im also buying a python and that 15% off coupon makes it an even better deal.
Has anyone in Canada ever used them. Would it be worth the extra shipping charges, border delays and currency exchange?
I bought some plants a few years back....some microsword and red crypts. microsword eventually died out slowly as my setup was very low light (microsword needs higher light), but the crypts are still growing like weeds 4-5 years later.
amen to that....a couple of years ago I ordered some 2.5 gallon eclipse-type systems around Christmas time. I don't know what the shipper was doing to the boxes, but 3 different times (first time plus 2 replacements) the tanks came busted up. I eventually just had to return them as they were gifts and time was running out til Christmas. F&S returned them w/ no problems except they wouldn't refund the original shipping...kind of irked me about the shipping as IMO it was their shipper that was continually busting up the tanks. In general, though, I've always been very happy with Foster's & Smith. Also been very happy with Big Als and PetSolutions.

Yeah Ive ordered fish and other pet products from drsfostersmith for years now. I have never had any problems. Oh btw petsmart.com has lower prices on a lot of tank equipment right now and free shipping on orders over $50
