Decor
Heavily planted, bogwood, plenty of caves.

Fish
20 corys, 15 lemon tetras, shrimp, red tailed shark, 3 Zebra pleco, 2 pictus,1Three spot gourami.

hows that?

Don't Pictus get pretty big? I think that school of 20 Corys will be fun and the Lemon Tetras are a nice mid level schooling fish.

There is a good chance you will. I got 4 Pandas a while back and I lucked out getting 2 male and 2 female. After almost every water change I did, those guys were doing their thing. I was never able to save a baby because they were in my live bearing tank. A tank I have switched to a Rasbora tank.

drop the pictus and you should be fine. pictus get about 6 inches and are predators. i think they would be very happy eating the cories. also, why do you want 20 cories??? that's a lot......

You have too many fish for the bottom of a tank with a very small foot print. 45g tanks are 36x12, that's not big enough for all those cories, a shark, shrimp and plecos. If you want a lot of bottom dwellers, get something that is 36x18.

Further, if you can afford to buy 2 zebra plecos, then you can afford to buy a bigger tank. MUCH bigger.

Roan

no kidding roan! zebra plecs are like $250 each...o.O i could setup a whole tank for that.
