I feed frozen foods as well, shrimp pellets, bug bites pellets, flakes, wafers, steamed veggies, the odd treat of fresh seafood from the grocery store... i try to vary things

Planted down some of the hornwort and removed some driftwood from my livebearer community tank.

Looks good. Thae apple snals arent eating it?

Added the anubias to Franklin's tank, it was originally in my nano, but it stood out too much where it was. And Frankie needed more plants... win win.

The hornwort is growing well in the livebearer community. Waterline is low as due for water change.20200330_184547.jpg

Removed the hornwort from Mimic's tank, it was getting sand stuck in it from refilling the tank, so it wasnt doing as nice as id like. So floating plants only. Lots of nice dark tannins though.

And the 10g nano, i propagated the hornwort and anacharis so its shorter, but been spread out more to allow for denser planting. The crypts are growing nice too in the front. Been growing those since tiny one leafed sprouts.20200330_184614.jpg

I added some twisty thin branches up top on the right side, to imitate overhanging roots or branches. When i can get some more branches i will add more. These are natural driftwood collected from local freshwater beaches. One of my twig cats is sitting on the twisted branch, you can see her tail hanging off the bottom.

I also introduced my female dwarf gourami to my male dwarf gourami in the big tank. So far so good. Some curious following of one another, but not much aggression. Red has nipped once or twice but no harm done. Will be watching closely.

Its sorta funny because she is larger than him.
