My tanks

He is greedy and sold it to me for $1.50, but I wanted it so I bought it. Overpriced, right?
Guppies cost me $6 where im at, so $1.50 is a score! Haha but itll be nice to see how that little one grows.

Where I get guppies they are only 2-3 dollars. But $1.50 for a baby, it might not even live.
If he has lived so far, hes got good chances :)

Is he the only fish in the tank?

because its the first pet i EVER HAD and i i have a 10 gal by the way

you may want this on a different thread...
However, the 'ghost shrimp' sounds to be a crayfish instead. They will be aggressive no matter what and not a good aquarium pet (at least not in the same aquarium as your fish). It is a dilemma. Unfortunately, having a single tank, you may need to choose fish or cray-fish, not both. Good luck!

Do you have a photo? If its a whisker shrimp, it can live fine in a densely planted vase at the very least 1 gallon volume. Lots of plants, maybe an airstone to help. Take gravel from the main tank and use it in the container he is in. Be sure to feed him though.

But he wont work out at all if hes a whisker shrimp. They attack other shrimp and fish to eat them.

But if hes a crayfish, they need different care and my vase suggestion wont work out
