I'm amazed how outgoing those enques are - my pymy, orange laser and sterbai all skiddle the minute i'm near the tank. They wait just behind the plant line when i feed the fishes and wait till i walk away before moving forward to eat.
The eques are my least shy. They're all over the place. They have an afternoon siesta under their driftwood, then are out and about.

Don't have experience with orange laser, but both my pygmaeus and sterbai are also timid, among my most timid that I keep. Of what I keep, sterbai, pygmaeus, weitzmani, and leucomelas are my shoes

The eques are my least shy of all, right behind them would be my trilineatus, paleatus, and loxozonus.

some new pogostemon stellatus between the cabomba on the far right and murdannia keisak. The pogo is still little so hard to see.

Finding balance with good lighting and fertilizer regime.
On my heaviest planted tanks, I dose ferts 3x a week, the rest only 1-2x weekly. Also choose good fertilizers. Nilocg products are fantastic, I've used those in the past. I've been trying out a Canadian company's ferts and been really liking the results.

Added a few more piecesof anubias, not like it's that noticeable because there's so many already lol but found some anubias coin at local petsmart, so grabbed 2. They're placed on the upper part of the wood, center right, just before the last golden nana

Added a crypt undulata to my 10g. It's a mess but kinda like the messy look it's got going on.

I redid my 5 gallon betta tank. Felt the itch to rescape something, and it's good to prevent boredom with bettas. Removed all the floaters (except 1 large piece of salvinia), added some trimmings from other tanks, added some more substrate and voila. Now just has to grow in.

And the little diva herself, Seashell. She was offended I kept her in a container while her tank was getting a rehaul. First thing she did when first put back into her new home was charge at me and flare lol

Added some rainbows to the heavily planted 55g. Going to move the cherry barbs to my Asian 20g.

Big trim in the 55g. Moved the cherry barbs to the 20g Asian.
Planning to add some sußwassertang to the 20g tomorrow.

Looks bare, but it'll regrow. In the fun stage of trimming and replanting to get thicker plant bushes. 20211022_220641.jpg

Changed up the other 55g tank a bit, liking this better. Everything is attached to the logs except the sag patches in the sand. The vals and swords even are attached to the wood lol

Planted 55g growth, going for a jungle look, want this all overgrown eventually. Just been at the fun stage of trimming and replanting to make stands of plants denser.

Have you attached swords to wood for long or is it a new experiment? I think you're a better water column fertilizer than I am, mine sometimes get root tabs. But an interesting idea. I have a half grow amazon? sword that might be fun to try, maybe it will "bonsai" it? It's that or give it away soon.

As usual your tanks look great!
