My test result.

What did you got? Can you tell me please. You can PM me if you want to. Which test did you had?

This website is a famous society. Its not ahoax or something. You can find it in among worlds top intellectual societies. It name is stated in wikipedia.

But as I previously posted, intelligence is a relative thing. One could be very intelligent and fail the test if their area of study is not one that is used in the test. All in all that test gives a very general meaningless number. Or maybe I'm not intelligent enough to see the point??? But if that is the case then maybe I should have failed the test.

After re-reading this thread I have seen that you have edited a number of your posts. That can make it very difficult for others to follow the thread as responses made by others often appear to be rude or misplaced, this is also unfair to those who have replied in your threads as it makes their posts appear to be out of context.

wikipedia is a open source site, which means I can write an essay on why my mom is the best mom in the whole world, and then you can change the article to say your mom is. Companies pay the same people that handle their myspace account to watch their wiki. entry and change it if needed.
And most scholars will tell you the standard IQ test is severely flawed, which is why it is not a test you take for college or a job interview.

Whaa?

IQ tests, in my opinion, are as jo has elucidated, entirely subjective to the person taking the test, the environment, the preconditions and the assessor/proccess of assessing.

I was watching this TV programme a while back (you can rate my IQ as we go, start with a base figure of, I dunno, 100...) about child 'prodigies'. One child was two years old, he could accurately count the number of candles on a cake without counting out aloud, however he couldn't tell the assessor what a hat was.

This is a girl who missed out by six days, but was given an IQ (read 'relative') of 152...

He was given an IQ of 150+ and inducted into Mensa, no joke.

Read up on stuff, it's better to know something about everything and everything about something than know how to push all the buttons to get a good intelligence quotient.

That's why I hate VCE...

If you might know, intelligence varies with fields, even Einstein was only a Genius in Physics. So you see regarding intelligence you would know that an Autistic person who is socially retard and might be laughted at his dorky behaviour at the school might be a Musical genius or a Mathematical one. And contributing at Wikipedia is nothing like making thread at a fish forum. Do you think a fish keeper with an average IQ of 120 would go and make thread at wikipedia about intelligence and IQ? Or would it be done a person with PHD degree and with an IQ of 146. Its a big difference. Check this out.

And since you guys says intelligence tests dont let you get in college, in my country every where you go you get an intelligence test before they let you in. And if that doesnt puts you in favour in IQ tests then you should see you country's military (army, navy and airforce) they all take IQ tests with other tests. And if you fail their IQ tests then you wont be able to join them.

And as you might not have taken the test, they give you patterns to remember and pick that pattersn again from 4 different patterns. And if this IQ was in my language I would have scored higher because I didnt understood the questions in english, saying this is to this and that is that, so I just made wild guesses.

A person with high IQ is classified with his field. And there are different things involved in an IQ test. Its not a dum test that just gives number in results. It judges you with different things and let you know how good are you at them.

I wish someone should have asked Einstein to compose music. And Mozrat to write theory of relativity. LOL that would have been fun. Leonardo should have kept fish and understood about cycling and coral breeding. But I guess they all picked things they were good at become genius at that. Thats just stupid of them not to know how to keep fish and reef.

Just about every IQ test I've ever taken, I've scored anywhere from 128-140....and I'm an idiot.
Most online tests are not a reliable means of calculating IQ.

Every IQ test I have taken has varied my score as well. And the questions are pretty pointless. Who cares which shape fits the pattern or how many apples johnny has when suzie has 5, those things won't get you anywhere in the world...I don't mean to rip on you but by no means do IQ tests determine what kind of person you are.
