My turn for a shrimp ID

I think the shrimp name should be MINE MINE MINE. But then I would get obsessed with finding another one for breeding purposes and...you know...this would not end well.

(awaiting true answer) :)

I'll have to keep everyone guessing a little longer since we haven't gotten a lot of guesses yet. ;)

Melissa. LOL Gotta Luv It.

One final clue and then I guess I will reveal.

It didn't grow this way as a babe. It was an adult that changed slowly over the course of a few days.

IDK.....do tell!!! The suspense is awful!

ok, ok .... here goes. Then maybe someone will be able to explain it.

This little lady is in a tank of Yellow shrimp! Neocaridina heterpoda sp. 'Yellow'.

Was not in the batch when I bought them. Was not green as a babe. It wasn't until she got to be adult size that she slowly changed. It started in the tail section. One of them deals where you would think it was algae growing like on a snail shell. As the days went by, the more green she got until we got the pic I posted.

Simply gorgeous ifn I must say!
