Mystery fry id please

Yeah, its head looks a bit off for a gert as well. Meteor minnow is definitely a good possibility.
 
i love a good mystery! LOL, iw ill keep you updated as it grows. I know meteors typically take a long time to look like what they are, tis a possibility
 
Whatever it is, it sure is a little survivor. Please keep us posted on what it turns out to be. I love it when mysterys are solved.
 
Well it's definitely not a duck-billed platypus.
 
it a te rigt body shape. mine have irridescet blue stripes though.

I think the body looks very danio like, but with that redish tone, I'm definitely going with golden white cloud/meteor minnow/chinese danio (why do they have so many names?) In the new pics you can see the head looks nothing like a Killi.

Can't wait to see the little guy grow up. Do you have anyone for him to school with, assuming he is big enough? Even some zebra danios would include him I bet.

Ha, I thought that too from the dark line in the first pics, but the new pics have me thinking minnow. White Cloud fry look similar for a while before they take on their adult appearance. Meteor Minnow may fit as well don't know if I have ever seen those. I also though Gambusia affinis a bit but the chest doesn't look bulging enough and its too long IMO.
