Mystery Fry

That is so weird! Is your son playing tricks on you? ;) lol

LOL yeah I figured that would be suspected, but this 90 gallon tall is pretty out of his reach on the top of a double iron stand, and the lid is pretty hard to open the way the lights sit across it. He likes to look at my baby fish, but he doesn't really have much interest in getting in the tanks either. I'm pretty much the only one that gets in the tanks, aside from the occassional water changes my daughter helps with. No big fish pranksters in my family, or that'd be my first guess!
Still trying to find another guppy that has a tail slightly resembling the tail on this one.

Yeah that's a Guppy all right! The iridescent sheen it has reminds me of any one of these guys...!

Def a Guppy just a few weeks ago i found a little 1.5" female Betta in my SA Dwarf setup must have stowed away on a plant i just got and didn't realize it but she is tiny or well i guess it is a female but nonetheless i will keep her/him unless someone wants her/him.. I also had a situation like this a few years back where i found a tiny less than an inch fry in one of my Tang tanks when i was switching gravel out to sand i raised it and it turns out it was a Hybrid Tang but he passed away a few months ago.. Looked like a Lelupi cross with Buescheri..

Yes, I remember your thread on that hybrid tang! I think that's what put the thought in my mind that something funny could be going on in my tang tank, but the more I looked at that baby, I realized it just couldn't be possible. It's still entirely beyond me how that fish could've gotten in the tank since I haven't added or rearranged anything in there for a couple months, but oh well, it'll remain a mystery.

For now, the mysterious guppy is growing out in a 10gal with my scarlet badis and some shrimp. Curious to see how he turns out since he doesn't look like the other guppies we have.

I also vote guppy and I would keep my eye on him as it most definitely more than a guppy and perhaps some kind of alien posing as a guppy.

Exactly what I thought... He obviously beamed himself into to tank-no other reasonable explanation! *going to put tinfoil on the other fishes' heads now*
