yes I believe so, Tightdog has some together on here in a 55 and as far as I know that seems to be going well, I'd assume they would anyway.
According to www.mongabay.com they are compatible. That site is fairly conservative when it comes to matching compatible fish, so I'd guess that this is surely okay.
ok orders in, a pair of cons, and a pair of blue acaras, and a tilipia, i know i havent done much research on these, but they seem to work out ok. i will get the scientific name. now to decorate my tank 
what plants should i get? something that grows in low light, hard to kill

what should i do for rocks? i like next to lake champlain, should i get some rocks out of there, and perhaps a freshwater clam or two?
right now, the tank has standard size gravel, should i get some other polished peices of shale that i can find in the lake to put in there with the gravel?
any other suggestions would be killer thanx guys

thanx guysHow can you tell if the clam is alive? You can't easily enough to make it worthwhile...you'll know once decomposition has set in to an amount, but until then, it's next to impossible. Plus, clam larvae are fish parasites.
You could probably get rocks from the lake, but sterilize 'em first!
