Naturally lowering PH?

It doesn't quite work that way. I have a degree which is around 40% teaching and 60% specialist subject - science.
I didn't end up teaching though. I'm a computer engineer.

I'm not sure of the protocols, but could I impose on you to check the "pH, GH & KH" new thread I have just begun in Freshwater newbies, please?

All very interesting. Such a steep learning curve. I envy you having had the chance to study. When one reaches middle age and finally has an opportunity to delve, even superficially, into 'science', it's a real joy.
There's also a "Physics of the Fish Tank post in those Archieves.
