Need recipe for Valentine's Day

This year I wanted to do something special for the missus, so I plan to surprise her with a couple of beef hearts for her to cook for us on Valentine's Day. With candy hearts being so overdone, I figure that she'll think its pretty cute and romantic to eat some real heart on Valentine's Day for a change.

The problem is, as I've never eaten heart (and I don't think that she has either), I'm at a loss when it comes to telling her how I would like it cooked. Does anyone out there have a good recipe for beef heart?

Thanks.

Are you actually being serious here???

Whatever happened to romance???

** ere ya go luv....couple of good cow hearts for us to eat....get yersen over to that there cooker and cook for me**

dang....romance is truely lost.....

Tell ya what, break the rules....why dont YOU cook for your lady????

Seriously, if i did that, my gf would tell me too....hmmmm.....go away....

I don't think the recipe is important. I think a get away driver will come in much more handy.

Mad you're picking the wrong heart.

Nothing romantic about cows.

You need to get Lambs heart. Lambs are soft cuddly and all women love them.

I'm still hearing it about not getting the tater mitts. There is no way my wife is seeing this thread.

:lol:totally agree with IceH20!
what you have to do is cook it just like a roast, keep it on 300 in teh oven for a while so it stays nice and tender stuff it with herbs like rosemary, thyme, cumin and some garlic take it out of the oven when just right, rub down with butter or seasoned butter and pan fry it real quick to give it a good outer crust.
lol. yeah if your going to get her to eat heart cook it for her!
