New 125 Gal tank being set-up

Wow!
For a FW person like me this has been very informative
Thanks :)

Your Very Welcome.

My goal here is to help people save money when starting a SW tank. you don't have to pay $6-12 per pound on Live rock when you can simply purchase a small amount and then seed some dead rock. This is better on our oceans and your wallet. Also most of the rock you are buying today has been dumped in the oceans from barges due to government intervention and then about 6 months to a year later collected and sold at your LFS, same as you seeding it yourself. I hope this posting has helped many other people as well. Thanks for all the great Comments from everyone so far, Thanks.

Absolutely awesome!

31 May 2007

Just showing the pics of the tank as of today 31 May 2007. The dead rock is slowly beginning to get life on it now. I can see little speckles of Coraline growing on the rock now along with the ugly brownish white look the rock gets during the process.

Pics taken 21 July 2007. As you can see there is a lot more life on the dead rock now. However, the rock still isn't considered to be live.
