New 75G Up and running

ROFL yeah.... i have to admit i've become a fish nerd =)

LOL, yeah. I'm like a mad scientist with my test kits and all.
Anytime you set up a new aquarium, everyday is like christmas morning monitoring and simply watching it's progress. Especially when a new package arrives. The UPS and FedEx drivers know me by name. Fish geek fun. ;)

Here's a pic of the tank tonight. The water is nice and clear so you can see everything much better. After tonight, I'll probably start doing weekly pics to document this tank's progress in a new thread (journal).

Yeah, they do add a splash of color. ;) The colored ones will be removed as this thing eventually becomes a full blown reef. I'll leave the white ones in there as they play a part in helping to support the rock structure and will eventually get covered in algae, anyway. I'll be removing the small green one, the purple one and the yellow one. The big green and blue ones(right side/top) will stay, as well.

I live in west Raleigh near the Western Blvd/Hillsborough St/Jones Franklin Rd. Intersection. (Plaza West Shopping Center) about 300-400 yards from Fish Pros (LFS).

Just for fun's sake, let's play a game. Who can spot the shark's tooth in the tank? :D

Ha! Yes, you found it. :)
Gotta love Chapel Hill. Go Heels! My girlfriend worked there at 'Blue' sports bar/tavern off of 15/501 for a spell, but the daily commute from Raleigh and back down I40 was just too much.

Yes traffic has gotten horrible there since I lived in the area. It was a fantastic place to grow up, Michael Jordan was playing for the heels when I was in high school and the team would often hang out at the same place.

Back on topic, I lived at Topsail for awhile, got very used to finding sharks teeth in the sand.
