New caps on Coke bottles

Switch to Pepsi................:grinyes:

No way!! Pepsi is gross, it's really sweet and flat tasting :eek3: I will stick with my Coke, maybe I'll just have to buy cans instead of bottles from now on.

Hmmm, yet another reason for me not to drink pop. I would get really annoyed!

Agreed. Cans taste better anyway. Unfortunately we're not allowed to have canned beverages at work. It's part of the "treat the employees like children" thing they're doing.

LOL! Same at my work-your drink MUST have a lid on it! I am thinking about buying an toddler sippy cup LOL!

I don't drink much soda, but when I do, it's grape, orange or coke. I don't have a problem with these caps, unless, of course, if hubby puts them on with a death grip. As far as 1/2 gram, if you think about it, it really does add up with millions of bottles every year. BUT, instead of complaining about the companies not spending billions on saving the earth, why not complain about the consumers that are throwing the bottles in the trash? Sure, Coke only saved .5 gram of plastic, but the consumers can save, what, an ounce per bottle?
