New Car Incentives

You know...if the argument for a larger vehicle is to come out better in an accident then you might want to look at a semi.

I will agree that really small cars don't do well in accidents, but you have to evaluate your vehicle on a case by case basis and look at auto safety reports and ratings. There are features that increase safety in mid sized vehicles. You can be the safest, most defensive driver around and still get creamed..that's why they call them accidents.

This is a bit :OT: by this time, but:
Nursie, you might want to test drive a PT Cruiser sometime(can you tell I love my car??). I've heard from a lot of older people that they are easy to get in and out of (no, you do not qualify as older-it's just that it seems like I am one of the younger drivers of them, at 42, LOL!). The seats are high, and the driver's seat has a lift under it, to raise it, so long legs don't get so tired.
I get into my co-workers cars & have to grab the top of the car to hoist myself back out! Can't figure out why they build cars this way!
