New Cherry Shrimp farm

OMG i got thread algae in one of my ten gallons so bad that it drove me absolutely MAD
i ended up dumping the contents of the tank (minus the snails of course) and just starting from scratch lol it seemed to have worked cuz i completely took the filter apart and inspected it for thread algae

Yeah, that's it. Does it shed?

it sheds a little bit, I havent thought of it as a problem. Requires alot of light or it grows all funky...

what is that plant in the front?

That is actually cabomba, in a 10 gal tank with 46 watts (CFL) of 6700K lighting.

I have the same stuff in 3 tanks, this one, my 125 with about 1.5 WPG, and a 37 with only about 1 wpg (Eclipse hood) and it looks different in all 3 tanks..

Nice -- what's it feel like? Is it spiky, like a pine tree (like hornwort) or softer? It's pretty, although I'm leaning towards the Rotala Wallichi because I am loving red plants in my tank right now.

and is that {pearlweed} in the front front of the tank?

the right bottom corner

Thats HM Or Hemianthus Micranthemoides - baby tears.
