New CO2 Set-Up Questions

I will definitely hang tight for further instruction4. Thanks for all your help.

I don't want to dish out more money then I already have on this setIup! If all elese fails though, then
20 for a quality solenoid is not terrible. I would have NO idea how to swap it out though! Lol

i have been getting some vibes that the clippard solenoid is subpar.
hmmm... wonder why that is? anyway... i was afraid i'd have such luck... the thread should help in picking parts anyhow, i'd think... just in case.

I will take a look at that thread when I have more time to focus (honestly, the first 2 pages I skimmed through confused me haha)

I was reading over the instructions that came with the regulator and was intrigued by something I read. The steps to using this are as follows:

1. Turn on the main power switch, make sure that the indicators of Pressure Regulator and Low Pressure Regulator within the normal range.

2. Turn on the magnetic valve to manual operation position (A) and test if it is OK.

3. Adjust Fine Needle Valve to get proper amount of CO2 and switch the magnetic valve to auto position (B). Then, plug in the Pressure Regulator.

I originally thought that turning the magnetic valve to the manual and auto positions meant unplugging and plugging in the solenoid. If that is the case, why is the last step "Then, plug in the Pressure Regulator."

It could just be bad translation, just thought I would throw it out there though.

remove power. separate your solenoid from everything between it and the tank. your shetup should look like:
tank, reg, solenoid, nothing.
apply and remove power several times.
Reassemble setup, see if it is fixed

if not,
remove power
get screwdriver (see note below)
disassemble solenoid (note: disclaimer i am not liable for anything that happens, use at your own risk :) )
clean with compressed air (see note above)
oil/grease parts that might need it (see note above)
reassemble (see note above)
test (see note above, again)
enjoy!

once again I will have to wait to get off until I can see if this works... stupid job.

I did break my check valve today trying to take it off (dont ask!) Can I use any check valve I can find to replace it?
