New crayfish! Pics inside

Now my 20 gallon tank is up again with 2 crayfish.

I'd like to share some pics and also ask for help to recognize (¿?) the species.

Where do you live? There are many types of crayfish. I would need to know where you live to determine the type.
 
That website only shows 3 types of crayfish. Iowa, the state I live in, has about 5 or 6 types of crayfish. And if the crayfish was caught in the wild (which it probably was) then finding out what type it is can be hard. A good way to find out it go to google and type the state you live in and then DNR. It will bring you to there webpage. From there you can find out what type of crayfish you have.

Nice. Make sure you have no crayfish sized holes about your tank hood.

The one in the pic may redden up a bit more, how long have you had him? Identifying crayfish to species level is very hard...
 
I introduced them yesterday. So, they have been with me less than a day.

I will try to investigate more on them. About the species identification, it's not really necesary, just wanted to be sure they are a freshwater specimens.

About the holes in the hood, the only way they can reach it would be to climb the glass or swim to the top. Can they do that?
