Unfortunately, I'm a big fan of keeping fish that live at room temperature rather than having a heater. I've heard good things about Hygger though.
I can't remember the lengths of the sides of that aquarium, so that might really hurt your choices in what you use, as well as what might fit with a lid if you are planning to use one especially regarding a hang on back filter .
Personal preference is always for a canister filter to keep everything away from the aquarium normally what you are used to would be my preference otherwise fluval or oase work well in my experience.
You can always use an air powered sponge filter if you like .
Personally I'm going to be setting up a ~45g aquarium without a heater and an Oase Biomaster filter.
