New Forum...

WOW, "fission" going on in my tanks!

Now I know why I do not miss the Navy after my 22 yrs of Nuclear Power Operations; it has been going on in my tanks, keeping me glowing! (puns intended)

Plah, I actually opened the door for you to waive your degre in thier faces in that thread. Told the OP to come here for better "service". Can't believe the girl told the OP 2ppm amonia would not harm her fish in any way :thud:

yeah, I don't want to even go over there. It seems like a junk forum with no quality members or info to offer. It's a commercial site, no? I always think those leave something to be desired, and have an ulterior motive (more sales!). Maybe they plant bad info, to get people to kill their fish and come back to buy more products.

ROFLMAO!!!

Conspiracy theory ? ;)

I honestly try NOT to go over there. There is so much misinformation its nt even funny. I do try to correct what I can, but when you have 20 ppl telling you you are wrong, when you now you are right, its kinda pointless. PPL most of the time will go with the majority.

I do have AC linked in my sig tho..

I'm going over there after I post this...If not for the humor to at least try to set them straight. Maybe if enough of us back one another up we could save some fish.

How can a site even let that kind of advice go without correction.

okay... I made that one up... it's still funny though! what you guys need to do is write articles. I wrote an article about the sizes of fish b/c so many people were asking q's about it, and the number of people asking those q's has dramatically plummeted.

well considering that when i emailed them complaining about my slow-running filter they said that filters are not required for fish to live, but merely decrease mantinence, and that "proper mantinence" includes only doing water changes every couple of weeks, i would say they are full of mulm.

yeah, the only reason I know of that site is because a stupid packet came with my 10 g starter kit.
