New goldfish tank questions

rofl, you guys are hilarious! amazing laser vision ranchu! lol. i used to think the fancy types were just awful, but now the only ones i just can't get down with are the ones with eye "decoration" - telescopes, bubble eyes... oh, and the really high-bred ryukin with the really dramatic dorsal hump. Now I really think that a nice ranchu is a good looking fish.
 
Lmao. I'm sick in the head for a good broadtail ryukin, and telescopes are my 2nd fave. Ranchu, I love, but they're sooo dern expensive.
 
My top favorite is the ranchu. I have been lucky enough to come across some pretty decent ones in LFSs and the wholesaler. I have more telescopes though because I am able to find more with good coloration around here.
 
wow you're lucky, tho only thing that my LFSs have are red fantails and red cap orandas (which they don't even know are red cap orandas! they call them some weird name)
 
Hehe laser vision :D I am just now starting to appreciate the fancy breeds, but I just love the Comets they are my #1 pick
 
A few of the LFSs around me carry some pretty good stuff. I got a couple really nice telescope eye butterfly tails from one that imports from Bangkok and other Asian places. All my ranchus have actually come in to the LFS I work at or, or I went with the owner to the wholesaler and hand picked them there. There is another LFS that carries some good stuff but rarely gets it in and has issues keeping them healthy. Tricolor telescopes for $1.50 is a good deal to me.

Have you notified your insurance company about your "Watch Fish"? It's so ugly its scary and it has laser vision. You might be able to get a discount on your home insurance.
