New Project

supplies

So yesterday I got my water pump on the mail and when I got off from work I stopped to get some floss pads, casters, and carbon pad. Today i went and got the sponges that will take place of the bio-balls and my bulkhead fittings.

I wonder If that can be done with a canister filter, Id like my twin 80's to share an FX5 if possible. The only way I have considered doing it is splitting the lined to each tank and then have a 3rd siphon line to keep then euqlized. But Oi worry if the siphon line fails Ill have a flood.

Nice build going! I notice your caster are rated for 275 lbs. If using 4 of these the total bearable load would be 1100lbs. Doing the quick math I see you will have about 110 gallons worth of tanks. Do you think those casters are big enough?

Is actually 90 to 100 gals the sump won't be full like a regular tank. On the other hand I'm putting 6 casters not 4.

I'd still oversize the casters, especially if you plan on moving it anywhere.
