New Riparium in 56 Column

Great job on the tank so far. It looks great.

Thanks everybody. Like I said above that last tank picture is not mine I was quoting someone else.

I hope to get back to this 56-gallon project sometime soon--just need to find the time and space for it.

I haven't been back to this thread in a million years.

Last night I finally got back to work on this project. I have been using this tank all along as plant storage area, but I got it cleaned out and made some room to set it up new.

This is going to be a high-humidity setup with crypts, Anubias and a few other plants. I think that I have good ideas for fish stocking for this one too.

Hey I got water and plants into this setup and here is a quick picture...

There are several real nice plants in there.

I'm just keeping this Cryptoheros cutteri in this tank for the time being. He seems to like it in there.

This sure is a pretty fish. Eventually I'm going to find another spot for this fish and replace it with some kind of West Africa cichlid.

Nice start!

Looks great. Cant wait to see it all grown in. What plant is that on the far left?

Its amazing how well that single rock does at being a focal point for the bottom. Do you plan on adding any submersed plants?

Hey thanks!

I might add some plants, or I might just hardscape underwater. Either way I will definitely add a few more rocks.
