New shrimp only tank, planted!

Hi guys, I just finished setting up my 10g RCS tank today. Put in some repens, jungle val, rotala r. and a ludwigia hybrid. I'll be dosing with dry ferts, ei method. No co for right now, spent too much on my 30 gallon..... Its looking nice so far I think, what do you guys think? I'll be adding lots of moss as well. Suggestions?

Nice. I really like the white sand substrate. I'm seriously considering turning one of my 10g into a planted shrimp tank once the baby angels in it grow into a bigger tank. I love the looks of them.

Get some moss. Its basically a necessity for shrimp tanks

I will be transferring some xmas moss over today, and the seller told me he could include a bit of extra moss with my shrimp Very generous of him!

Nice start so far. As far as moss what kind do you plan on getting?

Thanks GM! I have some xmas moss in here now, and I have a package of java and some flame moss on the way. I picked up some mesh to use for a moss wall too so well see.

Thanks! I'm having a bit of an algae issue right now, but the plants came from my high tech tank, they may be just adjusting.

Cherry shrimp like to graze on algae, not a big deal at all! Looks like a nice start. I would add a few cave like places for them to hide in while molting. Cholla wood or bamboo hollows work well.
